Founded in 1925, Charankattu Coir Manufacturing Company (CCM) began with a humble setup of just ten looms under the visionary leadership of Shri. K.K. Velu, born in 1881 in Kanichukulangara, Kerala. With little formal education but extraordinary foresight and integrity, he pioneered one of Kerala’s first coir-based industrial ventures.
